In collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) from the UK, HKDI Gallery is going to present this thrilling exhibition – Zaha Hadid Architects: Vertical Urbanism. This exhibition is curated especially for the Hong Kong Design Institute, showcases exploration on the theme of urbanism by presenting a range of approaches taken by ZHA to create vibrant and sustainable community orientated spaces within dense urban conditions, opening up a dialogue around urbanism in the 21st century. The exhibition will also include a summary of the ongoing research and development within the studio, often incorporating collaborations with renowned scientific institutions developing new innovations in robotics, artificial intelligence, and digital fabrication which in turn informs the studio's design process. On display will be technical drawings and diagrams, computer-generated visualisations, physical models, video projections, and virtual reality experiences.
