The talk will touch upon a few important subjects. The first topic is how to find a job in the UK which is the most difficult part at the beginning. Apart from finding the job, it is necessary to know the interview skills as to how to please the UK employers and what they would like to find out from you. The condition of employment is slightly different from HK as they may offer you a company car and travel allowance. It is because the UK travelling expenses are extremely expensive, especially in London. You may have London weighting which means your salary may be higher. After finding your job, you need to learn how to deal with your business counterparts and working colleagues etc. The talk will include a personal zoom interview with Celia Wong who is currently working in the UK. There will be a Q&A session with Charles Hung and Celia Wong such that the audience can ask questions on the spot. The communication with Celia Wong will be live on screen as UK time is 8 hours behind (i.e. 7am). The attendance of this event will be in person, subject to the rules and regulations of pandemic measures at that time.
