Successful implementation of a construction project is the result of a coordinated team effort. Construction industry remain fragmented as of now, disintegrated project work-flow and diversity of technologies in use are the two key challenges to overall construction productivity. A common data exchange is in need to enable inseparability and project collaboration. openBIM approach connects project work-flow and enhances construction data exchange between project stakeholders. With connected construction, we could expect effective information availability anytime and anywhere. It is the aim for this presentation to show that openBIM enhances team cohesiveness and ensures information transparency, traceability and accuracy.
