In international arbitration, it is increasingly common for the losing party to bear the other party's costs, which may potentially include attorneys' fees, arbitrators' fees and administration fees. To date, limited attention has been paid to the recovery of in-house costs (including both in-house legal and management costs) that companies often incur in connection with arbitration proceedings. This webinar will discuss the principles relevant to the recovery of such in-house costs and offer practical tips to maximise such recovery for parties, in-house counsel, external counsel and arbitrators.
